This policy explains how Ashoka Tiles collects and uses your personal data when you use this website, message us on WhatsApp, fill in one of our enquiry forms or receive a call from us.

Ashoka Tiles is the trading name of Ashoka Enterprises (Proprietor: Geeta Gupta), GSTIN 09AGTPG8428K1ZN, Ground Floor, c/o Ashok Kumar, Campierganj, Arjun, Basantpur, Near Tiwari Medical Store, Compier Ganj Nagar, Gorakhpur, Uttar Pradesh 273158.

What we collect

  • Your name and phone number.
  • WhatsApp messages you send us and the replies we send you.
  • Recordings and written transcripts of calls, when a call is recorded. We tell you at the start of a call if it is recorded.
  • Enquiry details you give us through our website or ad forms, such as your city, area, project type, budget, room size and the tiles you like.
  • Room photos you use in the "Try it on my room" tool. These are sent for processing to place the tile and are not stored by us.

Why we use it

  • To respond to your enquiries.
  • To send you quotes, design suggestions, appointment confirmations and updates about your enquiry.
  • To make follow-up calls about your enquiry or showroom visit.

We only contact you about your enquiry with Ashoka Tiles. We do not sell your personal data or share it for other companies' marketing.

Who we share it with

We use these service providers to run our messaging and calls. They process your data only to provide their service to us:

  • Meta (WhatsApp Business Platform): sends and receives our WhatsApp messages.
  • Plivo: places and connects our phone calls, and records calls where recording is on.
  • OpenAI: helps draft replies to WhatsApp messages, processes call audio and transcripts, and processes room photos for the tile preview.

We may also disclose data where the law requires it.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiry details, messages, call recordings and transcripts for as long as we need them to deal with your enquiry and any purchase, and for up to 24 months from our last interaction with you. After that we delete them, unless the law requires us to keep them longer (for example, tax and invoice records).

Opting out

Reply STOP to any of our WhatsApp messages and we will stop sending you messages. You can also ask us not to call you by telling the caller or by contacting us at the details below.

Your rights and deleting your data

You can ask us to access, correct or delete your personal data, or withdraw your consent at any time. See how to request deletion.

We handle your personal data in line with India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023. If you are not satisfied with our response to a complaint, you may contact the Data Protection Board of India.
